Superfine Indian Kaolin Clay is a pale, finely milled cosmetic clay with a soft powder feel and a gentle clay character. In the hand, it feels smooth, dry, and light; once mixed, it becomes creamy and easy to spread, giving masks, cleansers, soaps, and powder formulations a clean mineral presence without the heavy pull of stronger clays. Its strength is softness: it helps a formula feel clearer and more clay-led while keeping the skin feel calm, smooth, and controlled.
As it dries, the surface moves toward a soft-matte finish rather than a tight or stiff one. After rinsing, the skin feels clean, smoother, and softly dried down, with less surface slip but little residue left behind. It is a natural fit for gentle masks, cleansing powders, soap bars, and formulations where a mild white clay finish is preferred. Used at high levels, it can make products feel dry, flat, or powdery, so it works best alongside ingredients that add cushion, glide, or softness.
