Green Ultra Ventilated French Clay

Green Ultra Ventilated French Clay is a fine green cosmetic clay with a dry, mineral-clean character and a distinctly matte finish. In the hand, it feels light, powdery, and absorbent; once mixed, it becomes smoother and more substantial, giving masks and cleansing formulas a clear clay presence. Its strongest behaviour appears as it dries: the surface feels tighter, cleaner, and less oily, with a pared-back finish rather than a soft or cushiony one.

After rinsing, it leaves the skin feeling clean-surfaced, lightly tightened, and more matte, as though excess slip has been removed. This makes it a natural fit for face masks, cleansing powders, soaps, and mineral-led formulations where customers expect freshness through texture rather than fragrance. Used generously, it can become too drying or chalky, so it works best when balanced with softer, more cushioning ingredients. 

Usage levels:

5 - 40% in masks

Blend into the product when cool. Homogenisation is recommended.

Incompatibilities:

Dissolves in highly acidic and highly alkaline solutions.

Cautions: Caution should be exercised as clay may stain fabric.
