Pink Ultra Ventilated French Clay

Pink Ultra Ventilated French Clay is a fine cosmetic clay with a soft mineral feel and a pale pink colour that customers naturally associate with gentle face masks. In the hand, it feels light, dry, and powdery; once mixed, it becomes smooth and workable, giving masks, cleansers, soaps, and powder formulations a recognisable clay presence without the stronger pull of green clay. Its identity sits in the middle: cleaner and more absorbent-feeling than kaolin, but softer and less forceful than deeper green or bentonite clays.

As it dries, the skin takes on a lightly tightened, soft-matte feel rather than a stiff or sharply drying one. After rinsing, the surface feels cleaner, smoother, and neatly dried down, with less slip left behind but no heavy clay residue. It works well in formulas where a visible clay character is wanted without making the experience feel harsh. Used at high levels, it can still become dry, powdery, or flat, so it benefits from ingredients that add softness, glide, or cushion.
