Red Ultra Ventilated French Clay

Red Ultra Ventilated French Clay is a fine cosmetic clay with a warm earthy colour and a steady mineral feel. In the hand, it feels dry, powdery, and more substantial than paler clays; once mixed, it becomes smooth and workable, bringing visible clay character to masks, cleansers, soaps, and powder formulations without the extreme pull of bentonite.

As it dries, the skin moves toward a more matte, lightly tightened surface, with the clay presence remaining easy to recognise. After rinsing, the finish feels cleaner, smoother, and dried down, with less surface slip and very little softness left behind. It works well where customers want a mask or cleanser to look and feel mineral-led, not barely there. Used at high levels, it can become dry, powdery, earthy, or visually heavy, so it benefits from ingredients that add glide, softness, or cushion.
