Description

Sclareolate begins with an impression of warm, ambery, tobacco-like, and softly herbal. As the material settles, dry tea, hay, and a smooth musky trace becomes more apparent, giving the profile more depth than its first impact suggests.

Placed in amber accords, tobacco ideas, woods, musks, leather impressions, and fine fragrance, it can give the composition structure, depth, and continuity beneath brighter notes. With Sclareolate, the amber & tobacco effect is most useful when it strengthens the intended accord rather than drawing attention to the raw material itself.

A measured addition keeps the effect articulate; too much may feel dry, dusty, or overly muted. A blotter establishes direction, but the finished base shows whether Sclareolate is supporting the formula or beginning to obscure it.
