Description
Rosone (TCMPCA) brings a fresh, rosy, green, and slightly fruity character, but the material does not remain fixed there. Given time, clean geranium petals, leafy lift, and soft woody warmth becomes more apparent, changing how it sits beside the rest of the formula.
For rose accords, geranium effects, green florals, soaps, shampoos, and modern floral blends, formulators can use it to shape the floral body, improve diffusion, and connect petals to the surrounding accord. With Rosone (TCMPCA), the rose & green effect is most useful when it strengthens the intended accord rather than drawing attention to the raw material itself.
Dose is decisive: excess may push the material towards sharp, soapy, or overly rosy. A blotter establishes direction, but the finished base shows whether Rosone (TCMPCA) is supporting the formula or beginning to obscure it.

Odour: Heavy, deep rose, floral powdery
Uses: Has found wide application in perfume compositions as a fixative in Rose and Geranium compounds, soap fragrances, powder perfumes, etc. because of its excellent stability and fixative effect. Its odour is better understood upon evaluation of Phenylethylalcohol with and without 5% of this material. There are still perfumers who find the title ester odourless or without any perfumery value, and it is sometimes because the material has been judged too hastily without a compounding experiment.
