Description
Methyl Anthranilate brings a powerful, sweet, grape-like, and orange-blossom floral character, but the material does not remain fixed there. Given time, dark fruit, honeyed petals, and an indolic trace becomes more apparent, changing how it sits beside the rest of the formula.
Within orange blossom accords, tuberose, grape effects, berry florals, and exotic fragrance ideas, it is most useful when asked to supply a specific accent, strengthen the central accord, or connect neighbouring materials. With Methyl Anthranilate, the grape & blossom effect is most useful when it strengthens the intended accord rather than drawing attention to the raw material itself.
The useful window closes once the material begins to feel grapey, medicinal, or cloying. A blotter establishes direction, but the finished base shows whether Methyl Anthranilate is supporting the formula or beginning to obscure it.
