Description
The defining feature of Damascone Alpha is its movement from powerful, rosy, fruity, and slightly spicy to dark plum, apple skin, tea, and dry tobacco nuance.
For rose accords, fruity florals, tea ideas, tobacco blends, woods, and fine fragrance, formulators can use it to shape the floral body, improve diffusion, and connect petals to the surrounding accord. With Damascone Alpha, the rose & fruit effect is most useful when it strengthens the intended accord rather than drawing attention to the raw material itself.
Dose is decisive: excess may push the material towards overstated, unbalanced, or too dominant. A blotter establishes direction, but the finished base shows whether Damascone Alpha is supporting the formula or beginning to obscure it.

Floral, rose, apple, fruity and blackcurrant; this rose ketone is one of the best radiants and effective in traces typically used from 0.01% up to 0.2% of the fragrance formula.
Uses: Essential in rose recreations and widely used in fruity compositions this versatile material is also effective in aldehydic, herbal citrus and even oriental fragrances. Note that the IFRA restriction applies to all rose ketones combined.
