Description

Perfumers can draw on it in pineapple accords, tropical fruits, shampoos, soaps, florals, and bright fruity blends to define the fruit effect and give the accord a clearer, more recognisable direction. With Allyl Cyclohexyl Propionate, the pineapple & green effect is most useful when it strengthens the intended accord rather than drawing attention to the raw material itself.
Evaluate it in the finished base, where any tendency towards harsh, synthetic, or aggressively fruity is easier to judge. A blotter establishes direction, but the finished base shows whether Allyl Cyclohexyl Propionate is supporting the formula or beginning to obscure it.

Odour (decreasing): Sweet, pineapple, tropical fruit, sweets, waxy. Very substantive.
Uses: Much longer lasting than the typical fruity esters, this material can still be detected after more than a week on a smelling strip. Although typical use levels are usually quoted as 0.5% to 10% of the concentrate, we€™ve found amounts as low as 0.02% can provide effective support to other fruity notes.
