Description
Ylang Ylang 2nd Essential Oil has a sweet creamy floral aroma with yellow flower, waxy petal, soft fruit, and warm floral density. It does not behave like the brighter earliest fractions. The 2nd fraction feels more settled, rounder, and less sparkling, making it useful when ylang needs to remain in the body of a blend.
The first impression is sweet and floral, then the scent quickly becomes creamier and heavier. This works well in soaps, body oils, creams, hair products, natural perfumes, tropical blends, floral bases, and blends with jasmine, rose, geranium, vanilla, sandalwood, patchouli, benzoin, cedarwood, or amber materials.
Ylang Ylang 2nd needs careful balance. Used lightly, it gives warm floral body. Used heavily, it can become oily, heady, waxy, overripe, or cloying.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
