Description
Tangerine Essential Oil has a soft sweet citrus aroma with fresh peel, light fruit, pale pith, and a gentle orange-like finish. It does not behave like sharp lemon or tart lime. Tangerine feels rounder, easier, and more immediately friendly, with a citrus brightness that arrives without much bite.
The first impression is bright and sweet, then the scent fades into soft peel and faint pith. This makes Tangerine useful in soaps, creams, lotions, body oils, bath products, candles, diffusers, room sprays, soft citrus perfumes, and blends with lavender, neroli, geranium, vanilla, spice, cedarwood, frankincense, or patchouli.
Tangerine works best when used for light, cheerful lift. Used heavily, it can become thin, overly sweet, simple, or too fruit-drink-like.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
