Description
Sandalwood Indian Essential Oil has a soft creamy aroma with sweet wood, pale balsam, faint milkiness, and a long warm base. It does not behave like a bright top note. Indian Sandalwood works slowly, settling into a formula and making the drydown feel smoother, closer, and more complete.
The first impression is gentle and woody. As it develops, the creamy balsamic body becomes more noticeable, leaving a soft sandalwood residue that works well in natural perfumes, facial oils, body oils, creams, balms, soaps, incense blends, and fine floral bases with rose, jasmine, neroli, ylang ylang, vanilla, frankincense, patchouli, vetiver, or spice.
Indian Sandalwood is most effective when it is allowed to stay quiet. Used heavily, it can become waxy, powdery, heavy, or too soft.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
