Description
Sage Dalmatian Essential Oil has a strong herbal aroma with green sage leaf, pale camphor, bitter dried herb, woody spice, and a medicinal edge. It does not behave like soft clary sage or gentle culinary herb. Dalmatian Sage is sharper, drier, and more forceful, with a clear safety boundary because of its thujone content.
The first impression is green and camphoraceous. As the scent develops, the scent becomes drier and more bitter, leaving a firm herbal residue that works in careful low-dose use for soaps, herbal accords, masculine blends, natural perfumes, room blends, and cleansing-style formulas with rosemary, lavender, thyme, hyssop, cypress, cedarwood, citrus, or spice.
Dalmatian Sage needs restraint. Used heavily, it can become harsh, bitter, medicinal, and overpowering.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
