Description
Rosemary Tunisian Essential Oil has a clean herbal aroma with fresh rosemary leaf, airy camphor, green twig, faint pine, and dry bitterness. It should not be over-described as dramatically different from other rosemary oils unless the chemotype is known. Its useful identity is clear rosemary freshness with practical lift.
The first impression is brisk and green. Once the first lift recedes, the scent becomes drier and more twig-like, leaving a herbal residue that works well in shampoos, scalp oils, soaps, shower gels, diffusers, massage blends, room sprays, herbal accords, and blends with lemon, bergamot, lavender, eucalyptus, peppermint, cedarwood, pine, basil, or thyme.
Tunisian Rosemary works best with restraint. Used lightly, it gives definition and lift. Used heavily, it can become sharp, bitter, medicinal, or too dry.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
