Description
Mandarin Green Essential Oil has a tart green citrus aroma with unripe mandarin peel, dry pith, faint wood, and a slight bitter edge. It is less sweet and less rounded than ripe mandarin oil. Green Mandarin feels sharper, fresher, and more raw, with the peel note closer to fruit picked early.
The first impression is bright and tangy, then the scent settles into pith and pale green wood. This makes it useful in soaps, gels, lotions, body oils, diffusers, room sprays, cologne-style blends, and green citrus accords where mandarin freshness needs more bite.
Green Mandarin works best when its tartness is balanced. Used lightly, it gives crisp peel lift. Used heavily, it can become bitter, sour, thin, or too sharp.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
