Description
Lime Cold Pressed Essential Oil has a bright green citrus aroma with zesty peel, light fruit, bitter pith, and quick freshness. It does not smell like lime cordial or sweet drink flavouring. The cold pressed peel character is sharper, greener, and more realistic.
The first impression is lively and immediate, then the scent settles into dry pith and pale lime skin. This makes it useful in soaps, creams, body oils, diffusers, room sprays, fresh perfumes, cocktail-style fragrance accords, and blends with mint, ginger, basil, coriander, coconut, woods, and florals.
Cold pressed lime works best when used for quick lift. Used lightly, it gives crisp green freshness. Used heavily, it can become thin, sour, bitter, or cleaner-like.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
