Description

Lemon Myrtle Essential Oil has an intense lemon-green aroma with citral brightness, sharp leaf, dry citrus, and a bitter botanical edge. It does not behave like cold pressed lemon peel. Lemon Myrtle is stronger, greener, and more persistent, with a lemon signal that arrives quickly and stays more firmly in a blend.

The first impression is bright and forceful, almost like lemon sherbet sharpened by crushed green leaf. Given a little time, the scent becomes drier and more leaf-like, leaving a clean citral trace that works well in soaps, room sprays, diffusers, cleaning-style blends, deodorising-style products, and strong citrus accords.

Lemon Myrtle needs restraint. Used lightly, it gives clean lemon power. Used heavily, it can become harsh, sour, soapy, or cleaner-like.

Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
