Description
Fennel Sweet Essential Oil has a sweet green aroma with warm seed, soft anise, and a gentle liquorice-like trace. It does not smell like fresh fennel bulb or bright garden herb. The seed oil is warmer, rounder, and more aromatic, with a sweetness that becomes clear almost immediately.
The first impression is green and lightly spicy, then the scent settles into honeyed anise and pale herbal warmth. This makes it useful in soaps, body oils, massage blends, natural perfumes, herbal diffusions, tooth-cleaning style formulations, and seed-spice accords where sweetness is needed without heavy bakery spice.
Sweet Fennel works best with restraint. Used lightly, it gives blends soft seed warmth and familiar anise sweetness. Used heavily, it can become syrupy, medicinal, mouthwash-like, or too liquorice-heavy.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
