Description
Citronella Essential Oil (Organic) has a sharp lemon-green aroma with grassy leaf, citronella stem, faint rosy sweetness, and dry botanical brightness. It does not behave like lemon peel or soft palmarosa. Citronella is grassier, sharper, and more functional, with a scent customers often connect to outdoor candles and practical fresh products.
The first impression is bright and lemony. Later, the scent becomes drier, greener, and slightly stem-like, leaving a citronella-grass residue that works well in soaps, room sprays, diffusers, outdoor candles, cleaning-style blends, fresh body care, and formulas with lemongrass, lavender, eucalyptus, tea tree, cedarwood, geranium, rosemary, litsea, or citrus oils.
Organic status supports sourcing expectations. Used heavily, citronella can become sour, soapy, harsh, or too candle-obvious.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
