Description
Citronella Java Essential Oil has a bright, lemony-green aroma with sweet grassy body, a soft rosy edge, and dry woody bitterness underneath. It is not a soft citrus oil. It feels more functional, more outdoor, and more immediately recognisable, with the familiar citronella-candle association arriving quickly.
The first impression is sharp and clean, cutting through stale air with a lemon-grass bite. Once the first lift recedes, the scent becomes sweeter and rounder, with a faint rose-geranium quality over dry green wood. This makes Citronella Java useful in outdoor candles, soaps, room sprays, diffusers, cleaning-style blends, fresh toiletries, and practical home fragrance products.
Citronella Java works best when its force is controlled. Used lightly, it gives freshness, lift, and a clear clean identity. Used heavily, it can become harsh, soapy, sour, or too candle-obvious.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
