Description
Cajeput Essential Oil has a fresh, camphoraceous aroma with eucalyptus-like lift, clean herbal bite, and a faint medicinal edge. It does not smell soft or decorative. It moves quickly, cutting through a blend with a bright, penetrating freshness that feels practical before it feels pretty.
The first impression is sharp and airy, then the scent settles into a lighter herbal vapour. Compared with tea tree, Cajeput can feel cleaner and less heavy; compared with eucalyptus, it has a softer herbal body underneath the camphor lift. This makes it useful in soaps, shower products, balms, massage blends, diffusers, and cleansing-style formulations where freshness needs to feel immediate.
Cajeput works best with restraint. Used lightly, it makes blends feel clearer and more open. Used heavily, it can become harsh, clinical, and overly medicinal, leaving a strong camphor-herbal trace behind.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
