Description
Bergamot Calabrian Essential Oil has a bright, green citrus aroma with soft floral peel and a gentle bitter edge. It does not smell like simple fruit juice. It feels more like the skin of the fruit being freshly pressed: sharp at first, fragrant, slightly bitter, and quietly floral underneath.
As the opening fades, Bergamot becomes softer and more tea-like, with the recognisable Earl Grey quality that makes it so familiar in colognes, soaps, body products, diffusers, and natural perfumery. It is especially useful when a blend feels too heavy, too sweet, or too closed-in.
Calabrian Bergamot gives quick lift and clean movement, but it is still a citrus oil. Its brightness does not linger forever. Used too heavily, it can become thin, bitter, or overly cologne-like, leaving a dry citrus-tea residue behind.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
