Description
Bay Laurel Essential Oil has a fresh, green, spicy aroma with the unmistakable bite of crushed bay leaf. It arrives as sharply, with a eucalyptus-like lift that makes the air feel clearer and more alert, and later develops into dry herb, woody spice, and a faint bitter edge.
This oil is useful when a blend needs structure rather than softness. It fits naturally into soaps, shower products, herbal diffuser blends, spice accords, and natural perfumery where clean green notes need more authority. It does not behave like mint, rosemary, or basil; Bay Laurel has its own dry, savoury leaf character.
Used lightly, it gives blends aromatic bite and a recognisable bay-leaf trace. Used heavily, it can become camphoraceous, bitter, and medicinal, so it works best as a sharp green accent rather than the whole blend.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
