Silk Amino Acid - Raw Materials

Silk Amino Acids are lightweight conditioning ingredients used in compatible shampoos, conditioners, sprays, cleansers, lotions and serums. They can contribute slip and a smoother after-feel without behaving like a heavy oil or surface coating.

Performance depends on the supplied grade. Concentration, molecular profile, carrier and physical form may differ, so one silk amino acid product should not automatically be substituted for another at the same percentage.

Incorporate according to the current specification and evaluate the finished formulation for clarity, pH, colour, odour, feel and stability. Use enough to improve the sensory result, but avoid assuming that a higher level will always provide a better finish.
