Description
Ylang Ylang 3rd Essential Oil (Organic) has a dense sweet floral aroma with yellow flower, oily warmth, waxy petal, woody-balsamic body, and long floral sweetness. It does not behave like the brighter first fraction. The 3rd fraction is heavier, less airy, and more useful when a product needs ylang body to remain through the base.
The first impression is sweet and thick. Later, the scent becomes warmer, waxier, and more woody, leaving a persistent yellow-flower residue that works well in soaps, body oils, creams, hair products, natural perfumes, tropical bases, candles, incense-style blends, amber florals, and blends with patchouli, sandalwood, vanilla, benzoin, labdanum, jasmine, rose, cedarwood, or spice.
Organic status supports sourcing expectations, not extra softness. Used heavily, Ylang Ylang 3rd can become oily, cloying, overripe, waxy, or too heavy.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
