Description
Ylang Ylang 1st Essential Oil (Organic) has a sweet tropical floral aroma with yellow flower, soft banana-like fruit, creamy petal, and warm floral body. It does not behave like a plain floral note. Ylang Ylang has natural sweetness, density, and a slightly narcotic quality that appears quickly if used too strongly.
The first impression is lifted and sweet. Once the first lift recedes, the scent becomes creamier and warmer, leaving a yellow-flower trace that works well in natural perfumes, body oils, creams, soaps, hair products, tropical floral accords, and blends with jasmine, rose, neroli, citrus, vanilla, sandalwood, patchouli, benzoin, or spice.
Organic status supports sourcing expectations, not a different smell. Ylang Ylang 1st works best when it keeps its lift. Used heavily, it can become heady, oily, banana-sweet, or cloying.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
