Description
Palmarosa Essential Oil has a fresh rosy aroma with green grass, pale leaf, soft sweetness, and clean floral wood. It does not behave like true rose oil. Palmarosa is lighter, grassier, and more transparent, with a rose-like impression carried through a fresh botanical stem.
The first impression is green and floral, then the scent settles into a softer grassy sweetness that works well in creams, lotions, soaps, body oils, hair products, diffusers, natural perfumes, and floral-herbal blends. It pairs naturally with lavender, geranium, rose, citrus, cedarwood, patchouli, sandalwood, and gentle spice.
Palmarosa works best when kept light. Used lightly, it gives formulas rosy softness and clean lift. Used heavily, it can become soapy, grassy, flat, or too plainly rose-like.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
