Description
Niaouli Essential Oil (Organic) has a fresh camphoraceous aroma with clean cineole vapour, sweet pale leaf, dry twig, and a soft medicinal trace. It sits close to eucalyptus and cajeput, but usually feels gentler and less severe than sharper eucalyptus oils.
The first impression is airy and immediately clean. In the drydown, the scent becomes leafier and drier, leaving a pale vapour residue that works well in soaps, shower products, balms, diffusers, room sprays, massage blends, scalp products, fresh botanical formulas, and blends with eucalyptus, tea tree, cajeput, myrtle, rosemary, peppermint, lavender, lemon, or pine. It is useful when a product should feel purposeful and freshly botanical without becoming as familiar or clinical as classic tea tree.
Organic status supports sourcing expectations, not a different smell. Used heavily, Niaouli can become sharp, thin, medicinal, or too eucalyptus-like.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
