Description
Melissa Leaf Essential Oil has a soft lemon-herbal aroma with fresh balm leaf, sweet citrus, pale earth, and delicate green warmth. It does not behave like Lemon Myrtle or Lemongrass. Melissa is quieter, leafier, and more refined, with lemon freshness held inside a tender herb character.
The first impression is bright but not forceful. Once the first lift recedes, the scent becomes greener and slightly earthy, leaving a subtle lemon balm residue that works well in fine facial oils, creams, lotions, natural perfumes, diffusers, delicate soaps, and botanical citrus blends.
Melissa is rare, delicate, and easy to overpower. Used lightly, it gives formulas soft lemon leaf and gentle herbal sweetness. Used heavily, it can become thin, sharp, soapy, or too lemon-clean.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
