Lemongrass oil is a member of the Poaceae family. This oil has a fresh, grassy-citrus scent, with an earthy undertone and is classed as a top note. Lemongrass blends well with camphoraceous, citrus, herby, floral, minty, spicy and woodsy oils.
Lemongrass contains analgesic, antidepressant, antimicrobial and antiseptic properties. It is a welcome addition in skincare, a fantastic insect repellent, and highly beneficial to the digestive, immune and nervous system.Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil.
