Description
Fennel Sweet Essential Oil (Organic) has a sweet seed aroma with anise-like lift, warm herb, dry earth, and a lingering liquorice trace. It does not behave like a soft green herb oil. Sweet Fennel is seed-led, rounded, and quickly recognisable, with a sweetness that can take over if the dose is too generous.
The first impression is fresh, sweet, and herbal. In the drydown, the scent becomes drier and more liquorice-like, leaving a warm seed residue that works well in soaps, spice accords, natural perfumes, body oils, room sprays, diffusers, herbal blends, and formulas with lavender, basil, tarragon, aniseed, coriander, citrus, ginger, cedarwood, or resins.
Organic status supports sourcing expectations, not a different scent. Used heavily, Sweet Fennel can become syrupy, medicinal, mouthwash-like, or too food-like.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
