Description

Davana Essential Oil has a warm fruity aroma with wine-like sweetness, dried fig, apricot skin, soft herb, and balsamic depth. It does not behave like a crisp green artemisia oil. Davana feels riper, darker, and more intimate, with a sweetness that sits closer to overripe fruit than fresh juice.

The first impression is fruity and slightly fermented, then the scent settles into warm balsamic herb and faint leather. This makes it useful in natural perfumes, fruity florals, amber blends, body oils, soaps, and experimental botanical formulas where a blend needs softness with a more unusual edge. It is particularly suited to someone looking for a fruit material that feels intimate, unconventional, and less polished than a conventional sweet fragrance.

Davana works best when used carefully. In small amounts, it gives fruit notes more body and makes florals feel less polished. Used heavily, it can become syrupy, boozy, stale, or too dense.

Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
