Description
Cocoa Butter Refined is a firm, structured butter with a cleaner scent and a smooth, slightly drier finish. It gives products shape and body, making it especially useful in balms, lotion bars, soaps and solid body care.
It does not behave like a soft, loose butter. When warmed, it melts cleanly but leaves a more stable coating behind. This structure helps formulas feel solid and substantial. Used too heavily, it can make products feel stiff, waxy or draggy, especially where the customer expects easy glide. Its best use is in formulas that need firmness without a strong natural cocoa scent.
