Description
Clove Leaf Essential Oil (Organic) has a hot spicy aroma with dry clove leaf, phenolic bite, woody warmth, and a faint medicinal bitterness. It does not behave like Clove Bud. The bud is warmer and sweeter; the leaf is sharper, drier, and more direct, with a clove identity that can dominate quickly.
The first impression is hot and phenolic. Given a little time, the scent becomes woodier and more medicinal, leaving a dry spice residue that works well in careful low-dose use for soaps, candles, room sprays, spice accords, natural perfumes, and professionally formulated body-care products with orange, cinnamon, nutmeg, black pepper, patchouli, cedarwood, vanilla, frankincense, or balsams.
Organic status supports sourcing expectations, not gentleness. Used heavily, Clove Leaf can become harsh, hot, irritating, medicinal, and overpowering.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
