Description
Bergamot Sicilian Essential Oil has a bright citrus-peel aroma with green freshness, soft floral lift, and a gentle bitter edge. It does not smell like sweet orange or sharp lemon. It feels closer to freshly pressed peel: fragrant, lively, slightly bitter, and clean without becoming household-citrus sharp.
The first impression is quick and bright, then the scent settles into a smoother tea-like trace many customers recognise from Earl Grey. This makes it useful in soaps, cologne-style blends, body oils, creams, diffusers, and natural perfumery where a formula needs lift, clarity, and a more finished citrus opening.
Sicilian Bergamot is best used with restraint. It can open up heavier woods, herbs, florals, and resins, but too much can become thin, bitter, or overly cologne-like. What remains is a dry citrus-floral peel trace, not juicy sweetness.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
