Description
Yuzu Essential Oil has a bright citrus aroma with tart peel, green pith, soft fruit, dry bitterness, and a clean fresh finish. It does not behave like simple sweet orange or soft mandarin. Yuzu has more edge, more structure, and a slightly bitter citrus shape that makes blends feel clearer.
The first impression is vivid and tart. With time, the scent becomes drier and pithier, leaving a green citrus residue that works well in soaps, creams, body oils, candles, room sprays, diffusers, natural perfumes, colognes, and blends with hinoki, cedarwood, juniper, rosemary, ginger, neroli, bergamot, mandarin, grapefruit, or green herbs.
Yuzu works best when kept bright. Used heavily, it can become bitter, sour, thin, or cleaner-like.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
