Description
Bergamot Mint Essential Oil has a soft citrus-herbal aroma with gentle mint and a lavender-like finish. Despite the name, it does not come from bergamot fruit, and it does not behave like peppermint. The first impression is fresh and lightly bright, but without that cold menthol punch that can dominate a blend.
As the scent settles, Bergamot Mint becomes smoother, softer, and more floral-herbal. This makes it useful in bath blends, massage oils, lotions, soaps, diffusers, and natural perfumery where a formula needs freshness without becoming sharp. It can also soften stronger mints or give citrus blends a quieter herbal cushion.
Used well, it leaves a pale mint-lavender trace that feels clean but not piercing. Used too heavily, it can become thin, soapy, or oddly floral-minty, so it works best when allowed to stay light.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
