Broccoli Seed Virgin Oil

Botanical Name: Brassica Oleraceae
Extraction Method: Cold Pressed
Processing Type: Virgin
Obtained from: Seeds
Country of Origin: Germany

Description: Broccoli Seed Oil contains a fatty acid profile that gives it excellent absorption properties while offering significant film forming properties on the skin, as well as on the hair, resulting in a natural glow on the skin and lustre on the hair.  The excellent anti-oxidant profile makes it an easy substitute for the activity of silicones where the film forming activity results in a natural shine, and cuticle smoothing of the hair, while preventing oxidation.
Studies show it helps diminish the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and age spots from both environmental and natural ageing, as well as the appearance of pore size and blemishes resulting from problematic skin. Broccoli Seed Oil protects and hydrates by forming a grease-less layer that keeps moisture in. It's responsible for calming and soothing the skin, providing anti-inflammatory effects on rashes, eczema, psoriasis and other skin conditions.

Colour: Clear Gold
Aromatic Description: Mild, seedy aroma
Common Uses: The perfect choice for your butters, and balms, where it will reduce greasiness and extend the shelf life, while offering a protective activity due to the excellent anti-oxidant profile.  Be careful of using too much in these products as it will absorb quickly and rob your customer of the nurtured effect.
It is also an excellent choice for lip balms where it will offer natural shine and anti-oxidant protection. It is exceptional moisturising on ageing or mature skin, as well as dull, dry hair. It is best used in high dilution unless you can find a way around the scent, which is not as easy as it is very herbal. You may want to use a herbal blend of essential oils to compliment the natural odour rather than trying to mask it.

Consistency: Liquid
Absorption: Light, non greasy, easily absorbed
Shelf life: Users can expect a shelf life of 24 months with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.
