Description
Ylang Ylang 1st Essential Oil has a sweet tropical floral aroma with yellow flower, soft banana-like fruit, creamy petal, and warm floral body. It does not behave like a plain floral note. Ylang Ylang has natural sweetness, density, and a slightly narcotic quality that appears quickly if used too strongly.
The first impression is lifted and sweet. After the initial impression, the scent becomes creamier and warmer, leaving a yellow-flower trace that works well in natural perfumes, body oils, creams, soaps, hair products, tropical floral accords, and blends with jasmine, rose, neroli, citrus, vanilla, sandalwood, patchouli, benzoin, or spice.
Ylang Ylang 1st works best when it keeps its lift. Used heavily, it can become heady, oily, banana-sweet, or cloying.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
