Description
Ravensara Essential Oil (Organic) has a fresh herbal aroma with soft spice, pale camphor, dry leaf, and clean woody vapour. It should not be confused with Ravintsara. The names are similar, but the botanicals are different, and responsible product copy should not blur them.
The first impression is green, herbal, and lightly spicy. After the initial impression, the scent becomes drier and more woody, leaving a clean botanical trace that works well in soaps, room sprays, diffusers, massage blends, balms, natural perfumes, herbal accords, and blends with lavender, rosemary, eucalyptus, tea tree, cajeput, citrus, cedarwood, or resinous woods. It suits aromatic blends intended to feel clear, composed, and gently restorative in character rather than aggressively medicinal.
Organic status supports sourcing expectations, not a different smell. Used heavily, Ravensara can become medicinal, thin, sharp, or too camphoraceous.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
