Description
Plai Essential Oil has a fresh root aroma with green rhizome, soft ginger spice, pale herb, faint cooling lift, and dry woody warmth. It does not behave like standard Ginger Essential Oil. Plai feels greener, smoother, and less culinary, with a fresh herbal quality that keeps the root warmth from becoming heavy.
The first impression is fresh and lightly spicy. As the scent develops, the scent becomes warmer and more woody, leaving a green root trace that works well in massage blends, body oils, balms, soaps, bath products, natural perfumes, herbal accords, and blends with ginger, galangal, black pepper, lemongrass, eucalyptus, lavender, cedarwood, or citrus.
Plai works best in controlled amounts. Used lightly, it gives smooth root warmth. Used heavily, it can become muddy, medicinal, bitter, or too root-heavy.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
