Description
Neroli Essential Oil has a fresh floral-citrus aroma with green orange blossom, bitter peel, pale honey, and soft flower-water sweetness. It does not behave like a heavy white floral. Neroli feels cleaner, greener, and more lifted, with the blossom kept bright by its bitter orange edge.
The first impression is fresh, floral, and slightly sharp. Given a little time, the scent becomes softer and more rounded, leaving a clean orange-blossom residue that works well in facial oils, creams, body oils, fine soaps, hair perfumes, natural perfumes, colognes, diffusers, and citrus-floral blends. It suits customers drawn to floral elegance but put off by dense sweetness, powder, or an overtly romantic white-flower character.
Neroli works best when its green brightness is protected. Used lightly, it gives formulas elegant floral lift. Used heavily, it can become soapy, bitter, sharp, or too cologne-like.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
