Description
Lime Distilled Essential Oil has a clean green citrus aroma with light lime vapour, pale peel, and faint bitterness. Compared with cold pressed lime, it usually feels less waxy, less peel-heavy, and more transparent.
The first impression is bright and fresh, but cleaner and less juicy than cold pressed lime. Later, the scent becomes drier and lighter, leaving a pale citrus trace that works well in soaps, creams, body oils, diffusers, room sprays, fresh cologne-style blends, and citrus accords.
Distilled lime is useful where lime freshness is needed without strong peel bitterness. Used lightly, it gives clear green lift. Used heavily, it can become thin, sharp, watery, or short-lived, especially beside heavier woods, resins, or sweet notes.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
