Description
Lemon Verbena Essential Oil has a fine lemon-green aroma with fresh leaf, soft herb, pale floral citrus, and a faint bitter trace. It does not behave like lemon peel, and it is less forceful than Lemon Myrtle. The scent feels more like crushing a lemon-scented leaf than cutting open a citrus fruit.
The first impression is bright and green, then the scent settles into a softer floral-herbal residue. This makes Lemon Verbena useful in fine soaps, creams, lotions, body oils, natural perfumes, room sprays, and botanical citrus blends where lemon freshness should feel delicate rather than sharp.
Lemon Verbena works best in restrained formulas. Used lightly, it gives fine lemon leaf and quiet floral lift. Used heavily, it can become thin, sharp, soapy, or easily lost.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
