Description
Lavender Essential Oil (Organic) has a soft floral-herbal aroma with lavender flower, green stem, pale sweetness, and a gentle dry herb finish. It does not behave like Lavandin Grosso. True lavender is usually softer, less camphoraceous, and more rounded, with the familiar flower held close by a clean green stem note.
The first impression is floral and fresh. After the initial impression, the scent becomes drier and quieter, leaving a soft lavender trace that works well in creams, lotions, soaps, body oils, balms, bath products, diffusers, room sprays, natural perfumes, and blends with bergamot, clary sage, geranium, cedarwood, frankincense, rosemary, chamomile, lemon, or patchouli.
Organic status supports sourcing expectations, not a different smell. Used heavily, lavender can become powdery, soapy, sleepy-flat, or old-fashioned.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
