Description
Lavender French Essential Oil has a fresh floral aroma with soft herbal sweetness, pale stem, dry flower, and a clean natural finish. It is recognisably lavender, but it does not need to feel heavy, old-fashioned, or detergent-like when used well.
The first impression is bright, floral, and gently green. As the scent develops, the scent becomes drier and more softly herbal, leaving a clean lavender residue that works well in creams, lotions, soaps, bath products, body oils, diffusers, linen sprays, natural perfumes, and gentle botanical blends.
French Lavender pairs naturally with citrus, rose, geranium, clary sage, chamomile, cedarwood, frankincense, and softer herbs. Used lightly, it gives a formula familiar floral clarity. Used heavily, it can become powdery, soapy, thin, or too familiar.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
