Description
Kanuka Essential Oil has a fresh herbaceous aroma with soft earth, sweet resin, faint honey, and a gentle medicinal-green trace. It sits in familiar tea-tree and manuka territory, but it usually feels less harsh than tea tree and less heavy than manuka.
The first impression is clean and plant-like, then the scent settles into a sweeter, earthier base. This makes Kanuka useful in soaps, balms, creams, body oils, diffusers, massage blends, and fresh botanical formulas where a product needs a clean natural identity without an aggressive medicinal edge.
Kanuka works best when its gentleness is preserved. Used lightly, it gives blends fresh herbal clarity and a soft earthy residue. Used heavily, it can become flat, medicinal, or too tea-tree-like.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
