Description āÆ

Frankincense Olibanum Essential Oil has a fresh resinous aroma with citrus peel, soft pepper, dry wood, pale spice, and incense-amber depth. Olibanum is frankincense resin, but the name often appears in perfumery where the material is valued for how it connects bright openings to warmer base notes.

The first impression is cleaner and more citrus-resinous than many people expect. As the scent develops, the scent becomes woodier and spicier, leaving a dry incense trace that works well in natural perfumes, amber accords, soaps, balms, diffusers, resin-wood blends, citrus compositions, and soft spice formulas.

Olibanum works best when it is not overpacked into a blend. Used lightly, it gives lift, dryness, and resin depth. Used heavily, it can become dusty, sour-resinous, or too incense-specific.

Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
