Description
Eucalyptus Smithii Essential Oil (Organic) has a soft clean aroma with eucalyptus leaf, pale camphor, dry twig, and gentle vapour. It does not behave like the sharper Blue Gum or the more forceful Blue Mallee profile. Smithii is easier, quieter, and more rounded, while still clearly belonging to the eucalyptus family.
The first impression is fresh and camphoraceous. As it develops, the character becomes drier and more leaf-like, leaving a clean airy trace that works well in soaps, shower gels, shampoos, balms, creams, diffusers, room sprays, massage blends, and blends with lavender, lemon, rosemary, peppermint, tea tree, cajeput, niaouli, myrtle, pine, or cedarwood.
Organic status supports sourcing expectations, not a different scent. Used heavily, it can become medicinal, thin, sharp, or too vapour-heavy.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
