Description
Eucalyptus Citriodora Essential Oil (Organic) has a sharp lemon-green aroma with citronella grass, rosy stem, fresh leaf, and sweet balsamic dryness. It does not behave like Blue Gum, Radiata, or Blue Mallee eucalyptus. Citriodora is much more lemony and citronella-like, with very little of the classic eucalyptus vapour character.
The first impression is bright and grassy. Later, the scent becomes rosier and more stem-like, leaving a lemon-citronella residue that works well in soaps, shampoos, room sprays, diffusers, outdoor candles, cleaning-style blends, fresh body care, and formulas with citronella, lemongrass, litsea, lavender, tea tree, cedarwood, rosemary, eucalyptus, or citrus oils.
Organic status supports sourcing expectations. Used heavily, it can become harsh, sour, soapy, or too candle-obvious.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
